Teaching of psychology in Luxembourg

There are several secondary schools in Luxembourg but at present Psychology is only offered at St George’s British International School. The subject is a relatively new option that was offered for the first time in 2010 and is proving to be very popular. The courses are based on the English educational system, and at St George’s students study the subject from the Edexcel specification. Psychology is offered at GCSE (14 –16 year olds) and at A-level (16-18 year olds); both courses run for two years.  A-levels are required for admission to UK universities and are recognised by other European universities.

As yet there is no association for psychology teachers in Luxembourg.
