At the EFPTA Board autumn 2025 meeting on 21-22 November in Ljubljana, we made great progress in our preparations for our April 2026 Conference!

15 Board members participated, representing almost all of our 13 member countries. Over the two meeting sessions on Friday and Saturday, we discussed our plans for all aspects of the conference: publicity, programme, cultural activities, practical arrangements, and so on.

We are indebted to our Slovenian colleagues, who facilitated our visit and made us very welcome. On the Friday we were treated to a tour of Srednja zdravstvena šola Ljubljana, (the Secondary School of Nursing), which will be the conference venue, and our meeting sesssions on both days were hosted at Zavod RS za šolstvo (National Education Institute). We were honoured that Prof Anja Podlesek, President of the Psychologists’ Association of Slovenia, came to meet us; she told us a little about psychology in Slovenia, and she will also address the Conference in April. The EFPTA Board is very grateful for such help and support. Conference participants can look forward to a warm Slovenian welcome in April!
